Hey everybody,

As we have stated before, our environmental Science class, the Green Alliance, works in conjunction with the NEED Project. To qualify for certain benefits and activities, we need to get 100 Tennessee Home Energy Surveys completed and the forms stating  you completed the survey, returned to us. We have decided to make this quick and easy for you. The survey will help you evaluate how you can save energy and with it, money, in your home. You can pick up the forms and return them to the Emporium Cafe (Main Street, Hohenwald, TN). Or just download the forms from here, (they are in the Microsoft Word formats old or new) and then return them to General Assembly or the Emporium Cafe. If you do so, this could greatly aid us in our quest (Quest! Quest! Quest!).

God bless and live green!

Last October IFC and Earthjustic held an energy efficiency short film competition. Yours truly, the Green Alliance, decided to whip a short film up over the period of 48 hours. After a few hours writing, a whole day of shooting, a whole night of editing, and many technical headaches, we had…The School Efficiecny Project. Unfortunately, we didn’t win… or even get honorable mention. BUT never fear, we went on a perilous quest (Quest! Quest! Quest!) to bring the video to YOU!

Synopsis

The School Efficiency Project shows a documentary crew as it follows Tim Woodall, head student councilman of his school, as he tries to pull together the School Efficiency Project. It soon turns disasterous…

The video is in three parts. Check ’em out below!

God bless, and live green!
